A traditional Yorkshire rose

The white rose of York is a symbol of the house of York, and is now used as the Yorkshire County symbol.

This flower corsage will look great pinned onto a lapel or as a decoration to a bag or hat and show your love for Yorkshire, or just for roses.

4 mm (US G) crochet hook

Yellow button 1 cm (0.4")

Gauge:

20 stitches and 20 rows per 10cm x 10cm (4" x 4") measured over double crochet

Skills required:

Chain, double, half treble, treble and double treble crochet stitches

Decrease stitches
