The fifth joint MKAL by Sarah Alderson and Ann Kingstone

This year we are knitting shawls. Do join us for the fun!

The MKAL has now finished however you can still purchase this pattern and knit your mix and match shawl.

Welcome to the fifth annual Mystery Knit ALong (MKAL) by Sarah Alderson and Ann Kingstone! We have an exciting few weeks ahead and we are so pleased you have decided to join in the fun!

To sign up you need to purchase the pattern! This year the MKAL will be a shawl design. You can get the pattern here.

The pattern is available for £3.00 GBP throughout the knitalong, then the price will increase to £6.00. Buy it now!

This MKAL is designed to stretch your creativity by giving you not one, but two options for each section of the shawl. We will send out a section of two great linked designs each week and the choice becomes yours for which option to knit.

This innovative MKAL will start with part one of the designs on the 6th March, followed by Part Two on the 13th March, and Part Three on 20th March. The final full pattern will be revealed on the 3rd April with winners chosen and prizes announced for those who have posted pictures of their completed shawl in our Ravelry group forum page. You will automatically receive an email with the pattern update on these dates to download the next section. Each part will have one option designed by Sarah Alderson and one option designed by Ann Kingstone. They can be mixed and matched giving you many different shawl pattern options!

We will be holding hands with you throughout the MKAL with online video tutorials via YouTube, advice on our blogs, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, and a live broadcast each week. Please also join in the chatter in this group. We love seeing your colour and yarn choices and sharing with you the fun of a MKAL.Ravelry group: https://www.ravelry.com/groups/shoulder-to-shoulder-mkal
